Altamont Food Pantry
is getting sparse. Items needed:
NOW ACCEPTING Perishable food that may be
stored in a freezer: beef, pork, chicken,
frozen fruits and veggies, etc.

Canned meat (tuna, chicken, vienna sausage),
boxed tuna helper, hamburger helper, 
canned ravioli, soups, spaghetti o’s, 
canned fruits, peanut butter, boxed pancake mix.
Items may be dropped off at the 
Altamont City Office.

SIREN INFORMATION

The sirens will be tested on Mondays at approximately Noon.
We will be testing the tornado siren. It is a solid blast.
They will only be tested if the weather is good and above 40 degrees.
If you hear the siren any other time – TAKE COVER.

SAFE ROOM INFORMATION REQUESTED

Stop by the City Office
with your safe room or safe area information.
Where it is located and a list of people that are more than likely
going to be in it in case of a tornado.

The information will be kept on file to help the first responders
in case a tragedy would happen.

Altamont Fire Department is requesting information
about your “safe room”.
Forms are available at the City Office.
